Anish Patel is an editor, writer and menswear stylist based in London. He has 12 years of experience in the industry, having served as menswear editor at The Evening Standard Magazine and Harrods, commissioning editor at MR PORTER, and content editor at Soho House.
After studying Art History at the University of York, Anish has always been interested in how menswear fits into a larger political, social and cultural framework, and much of his work is rooted in documentary and observation. He also understands the manner in which fashion can define, enhance or recreate an individual, which has often informed the work he has done with international talent for editorial shoots and press events.
As a commissioning editor, Anish has secured exclusive cover profiles with the likes of Lakeith Stanfield, Liam Gallagher, Chadwick Boseman, Travis Scott and Vincent Cassel. He is committed to discovering breakthrough talent in art, music, fashion, film and television. Throughout his career, he has helped to raise the profiles of many artists around the world and has been recognised for his push towards inclusivity and diversity.
